The city council in Davenport, Iowa,
approved the installation of red light cameras at certain intersections
and now plan to expand to speed cameras. If you live near
Davenport, please join me in avoiding conducting any business
there. I was buying my gasoline in Davenport, but I will no longer
do so until the city council removes the cameras. I will not visit
the Isle of Capris casino, Putnam museum, Best Buy, or Walmart in
Davenport.

houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall
not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported
by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched,
and the persons or things to be seized."
Let's remember what we're fighting for... we needn't trade
fundamental liberties for security.
